However, if they do get remote access, they'll just make it seem like they're doing something useful. While connected to your computer, they could also steal your files. By the end of the supposed repair session, you would be asked to pay hundreds of dollars for the services. In the future, keep in mind that all of these 'You've got a virus' pop-ups that appear in your browser will be scams. Every single one.
